Title: Aftermarket mirrors Post by DanGill on 06/28/07 at 13:33:36 Has anyone found mirrors that vibrate less than the stock mirrors on the S40/Savage? I would guess they would need to have a rubber bushing or a more flexible stalk. |
Title: Re: Aftermarket mirrors Post by serowbot on 06/28/07 at 15:02:15 My stock mirrors didn't vibrate badly at all, only if I took my hands of the bars at idle. If you try aftermarket ones, make sure the glass is wide angle or they will show a lot more vibration than stock. |

Title: Re: Aftermarket mirrors Post by klx650sm2002 on 06/29/07 at 02:20:57 I've found some 3" diam bar end mirrors which I'm thinking of getting for KLX, does anyone have experience with these? Thanks Clive W :D |
Title: Re: Aftermarket mirrors Post by FollyRob on 06/29/07 at 15:26:53 Bar end mirrors are probably going to vibrate more. You have to have a pretty smooth ride for bar end mirrors. |
Title: Re: Aftermarket mirrors Post by grim on 06/29/07 at 18:42:42 gee I hate the savage mirrors....completely useless besides keeping cops from giving me fix-it tickets. At any speed, even 0mph, I can't look into them without the pain sensors in my eyes killing me. Hate with a passion..... |
