has anyone attempted to put one on their bike? youd think it would be fairly simple.

run them off the orange wire coming out of the ignition/key switch (i.e. same one the headlight runs off of) for hot=power. ground to any black wire with a white tracer or the frame

hey v, in the stock wiring harness is the headlight the only thing that runs off that orange wire?

By that I mean, if I put a switch on that wire, the bike will still run?

Also, if you remember, what color is the high beam wire? I need to delete some switches.

ha!

yeah, it is fairly easy to rewire, but time consuming. if yr gonna do the ehadlight switch, make sure you only get the head ligth part, otherwise it will be a mess... depending on where you put the switch... the stock wiring is a huge mess, maze. I don't think the colors in my diagram necessarily match what's really on the bike (e.g. headlight), but the orange wire is corret. it runs a lot of stuff.
