Title: Replacing turn signals
Post by Hiker on 05/23/07 at 08:36:47

I have been looking at replacement turn signals and it looks to me that some have two wires and some have one wire. Which do I need? I found these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180001328608&rd=1,1. They look like the one wire type. Thanks for any advice.

Turn signals will have 2 or 3 conductors (wire or metal bit) depending whether they are front or rear.  Some use ground as a conductor.  Our lights don't use ground as a conductor but it can be done.

Fronts should have running and turn lights.

Rears should have turn lights.
