Getting 56.1 MPG around town after the chain drive was installed !! 17/43 combo !!

This is with the actual mileage taken on an accurate trip odometer I installed.

Sure am liking this !! lol

Good for you! But don't forget to lube them chain regularly. I think I keep the belt and loose 6 miles on a gallon just for the sake of not "Lubing the chain every 400 miles" :)

No problem Savagedude ! I lube the chain on my Ninja regularly so will do the S40 at the same time. The greatest advantage of this mod in my opinion is the reduction in engine RPMs at cruise speed.. Now at 65 it feels smooth and is much more enjoyable to ride..There is still a lot of power available, it seems to be the perfect combo.. I did a sprocket change on the Ninja also and reduced the RPMs at 60 mph to 6500 from 7000..Now it will get 70 mpg on a trip !!
