Title: Seat adjustment? Post by Jonny_Chicago on 05/08/07 at 16:51:54 Quick question, when you take off the back seat is there a way to pull the driver sit back a bit so you can stretch your legs out a bit? Just brainstorming. I was thinking forward controls but dont have $150 to drop. any input is appreciated Thank you Jonny |

Make sure you make them the same. use a bolt & nut & lock washer (split) on the place where the seat will now bolt to the new brackets. Get some more 1/8" thick steel and make an extension for the front seat bracket, or make a new bracket. prolly need slightly longer bolts for the front bracket. I think they're M6x1.0 pitch you can get a 4" angle grinder & cutting (not grinding) wheels at harbor freight tools for cheap. be careful with the grinder. at least get ear & eye protection. A FF helmet works well. there's also a tech sect article on making your own forward controls. |
