Title: REAR FENDER Post by cnosee on 05/04/07 at 15:51:41 I WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE THE REAR FENDER WITH MAYBE A CLASSIC STYLE, SPORTSTER , IS THERE ONE THAT WILL FIT WITHOUT TO MUCH CUTTING & CUSSING ??? :-/ THANK CNOSEE |
Title: Re: REAR FENDER Post by sluggo on 05/04/07 at 18:34:32 pretty much any mod you make will entail "cutting & cussing" as there are few bolt on parts available. having said that, i believe anything can fit anything, with the right amount of cutting and cussing. |
Title: Re: REAR FENDER Post by Rockin_John on 05/04/07 at 21:34:05 Most things that don't require special fitting which includes cussing aren't worth having. ;) My favorite form of fitting is what we used to call H&BTF at one shop (Heat and Beat Till Fits)! :P |

Title: Re: REAR FENDER Post by WD on 05/05/07 at 11:37:14 Direct bolt on? Nothing available. I run a Rebel 250/450 rear on mine. Have an FLH rear that will go on later this year. A Dremel tool and a drill are mandatory for modding a Savage. -WD |

Title: Re: REAR FENDER Post by justin_o_guy on 05/05/07 at 23:41:43 I have tools that remain invisible until certain words are spoken in a certain order at a volume loud enough thay can appreciate. Sometimes they become invisible again after having been used & layed down, requiring the words be said again, to make them visible. Hint* It ain't "Come out come out where ever you are" |
