Title: Clutch Adjustment or After Market Suggestion
Post by rarjr11 on 04/21/07 at 18:10:25

Hello,

I have small hands and have to reach for the clutch and front brake levers.

Anyone know how to adjust so that the levers are closer to the handle bar grips?  Or...know of any after market levers that are closer to the grips?

Any help / info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I just leave my clutch with quite a bit too much slack, so i dont have to reach for it very far. I havent looked at making the brake easier, Ill go look, BRB. Brake lever will require a different lever to allow the fingers to grasp it closer to the handlebars. The clutch wouldnt match the shape & IF you can find the brake lever, & IF symmetry is a big deal for ya, then maybe you should get both. But, if it's cool not symetrical, I think hanging a slim aluminum slug over the clutch cable, between the lever & the pivot housing, then you could put slack in the adjuster & use the slug to take u-p enough slack so the lever doesnt flop around & maintains your free play.
