Title: Seat Mod
Post by albb6 on 04/05/07 at 14:55:57

I just took the electric carving knife to my stock s40 seat. Shaved a thick hunk of foam off it. I hope I didn't take off too much. I may be looking for a sportster seat after I have a test ride (10" of snow this morning). I'll try to post a pic but no promises...

Okay I guess I know how to add pics to my posts.

Looks like it takes your tocus back a bit. I like it! Curious to find out how it rides.

I'll let you know how it rides when the roads and weather cooperate. I sat on it for a couple minutes and it feels like it's gonna be ok but when I sat on the stock seat in the showroom, I thought that was good too. Can't tell for sure until I'm riding for and hour or more.

that looks really good. has a nice shape to it and looks like it'll hold you place nicely.
