this is my wife's first attempt at riding. she is taking the mc safety course. it's a 2005, s40 with 963 miles. oh, she's 43.

Congrats! One is never to young to start! I was lucky, my dad started me at 10. He on the other hand started at 39, then went on to teach the MN saftey courses, and now this fall he will be 76 and still rides a SV650 sporting twin. I hope I am still riding at that age.

good for her ! debby started riding last year at 40yrs,
i put her through the mc safety course, the savage was her 1st bike also. a winning combination for sure!

oh,oh,oh - need to tune it and get that propane can of a muffler replaced! :)

heck take the MSF course with her - it's fun and where else can ou beat up someone else's bike !

Though my spouse had ridden ATVs, she got her first bike at 40...a GZ250. A year later she got her 2001 Savage.

I spent that first year teaching her how to ride, but then we both took the MSF course together. As Reelthing said, I had a lot of fun on a Yamaha 200...
