Title: Re: chain tensioner removal procedure Post by justin_o_guy on 03/27/07 at 07:45:16 I wouldn't start it again till I solved this. IF the tensioner lets go, the spring goes in polaces that won't tolerate it, the chain can come off the sprocket & cam stick valves in the piston. The cam chain making noise is, to me, a very serious thing to be dealt with immediately. Others may not feel so strongly,Lets wait & see. |

Title: Re: chain tensioner removal procedure Post by verslagen1 on 03/27/07 at 11:28:05 my guess is you left the rachet locked and the plunger didn't take up the lack. In any event get back in there and fix it. NOW! |
