Does anyone have a photo of a complete battery box, or can anyone describe the pieces?
Here are the parts I have:
1. big chrome battery box that fastens to frame with 4 bolts
2. chrome cover with lock at bottom
3. piece of chromed plastic that seems to fit on the top of the chrome box
What is missing? Something to mate the chrome cover to the battery box? I'd like to see what the missing pieces look like so I can fab something up.

Steve, here are the prices for the mounting plate and lock plate from Fig 33C
These are for a 96, I don't know if they are the same for all years, but I suspect they are.

11 HOLDER, TOOL

18 PLATE, LOCK

15 SCREW (uses two)

By the description it seems the missing piece is #11 from the picture. This is a black metal plate, that bolts to the bottom of the box

#18, the lock plate is important too, if you want to use your chrome cover with the lock

under that cover is where I keep my registration/insurance
papers in a ziploc bag
