Title: Jets

I have a 06 stock S40, can anyone tell me what size jets are in there now. Iwould like to put on a SE muffler.

I believe the stock jet is a Mikuni large round 145.  The best way to know for sure is to take a look at the jet.  Its size will be stamped into it.  When you change to a freer flowing exhaust, I would suggest you purchase a 152.5, a 155 and a 157.5 and try each one.  They are usually about $3 to $5 each.  I've found them for $3 each at a local HD dealer but there are a lot of places online too. Be sure to tune the carb after any intake, jetting or exhaust change.

My wife's Savage has SE II pipe and stock filter. 152.5 main works excellent.

The one on Old Denton Rd. in Carrollton,  That was about two years ago.  Call a few and ask if they have 'em.

My main is a 130, and the bike is still running rich.  Im in Australia if that makes a difference, I know a lot of the bikes we get here are different to the US ones (my old KDX200 being a classic example).  Any ideas whats doing here?

Oh...you have a completely different carb setup don't you?  Sounds about like a CA model.  What was the stock size?  125?

What make you say you're running rich?
