Title: what is thickness of stock white spacer?
Post by w6k on 01/07/07 at 21:16:03

My 2002 has a 152.5 main jet in it. I pulled the carb to do the spacer mod but maybe it was done when the main was changed to accomodate the Supertrapps the previous owner installed. Not sure at this point because I don't know the the thickness of a stock spacer. The one that is in there now looks  to be about 3/16" or so.

basically you want to look for wear or rubbing.  if one side is flatter then the other then you know its been shaved.  if it looks uniform then it hasnt been touched

OK I have two answers 2.5mm and .111 inches. I suspect there is some varience in the thickness from spacer to spacer so allowing for that means the thicknes is somewhere between 2.5 and 2.8 mm. That is less than 1/8."  My spacer is stock. Thank you gentleman for your help.

I went & rechecked my measurement after I saw the other one. It is, according to the digital dial calliper, which I checked the zero on, .111 inches.
