It's been a while since I've visited this forum (done a lot of riding this Spring/Summer/Fall).

I want to review new postings in the Technical Documentation/Reference section, but the order of the threads does not appear to be chronological, as they are in this (Rubber Side Down) section.

How does one go about easily reviewing recent posts in the Technical Documentation/Reference section?

I just looked at the tech section. the first three threads look to be locked by the mods. The rest were chronological.

Brew,

Thnx for checking.  When I look at that section, I see the first three posts are locked and the dates on the next five threads are:

17 DEC 06
10 DEC 06
11 DEC 06
23 JAN 06
24 NOV 06

Definitely not in chronological order.  Is there a setting I can change somewhere?

unfortunately, with this version of yabb I believe it just puts topics that have been replied to at the top no matter when they were started.  I'm not aware of a way to sort posts by date.  If we could ever get ahold of john we could get that fixed but he seems to be mia.

hey digger, I see what your saying. I usually use the search method, when I want to look up something. Sorry if my reply was misleading.

Thanks to all who have answered.  I guess that's just how the board works....fair enough!

Now, if I've been away for a week, say, and I want to view any new postings in the Tech Doc/Ref section, do I need to view all three pages of threads and check each page for the "NEW" icon?

Sorry, I'm better at wrenchin' than I am at forums! :-[
