Title: Oops, my appologies big time
Post by YonuhAdisi on 12/14/06 at 04:13:52

:-[ :-[ :-[

I have been telling ya'll that I had put on a stock VTX muff on my Savage, I just found out yesterday that it is actually a Jardine.  :-[ :-[ :-[

How was I supposed to know?  :-[ :-[ My buddy gave it to me without telling me that it was actually a Jardine so I assumed (I know A$$-U-Me) it was stock Honda VTX.

Well anyway, since he gave me both of them I have a spare Jardine slip on going a beggin' anyone interested Private message me or e-mail we'll work out a deal.

You might want to post it in The Marketplace.

Get a SuperTrapp. It will give you a lot more acceleration/Torque, and it is adjustable.

Nothing wrong with a Jardine.  A lot of Savage owners use them and like them a lot.

I think I will stick with the jardine. Wen't to stealership to pick up my 55 pilot and they had to order it.  ::) They only carry up to a 45.

My wife had to walk away from the counter before she tore into the guy though, he kept asking me stupid questions. Like:

"Why did we decide on such a big pilot for you?" (As if he were the one that suggested it)

So I told him again, because the LS650 came from the factory in a too lean condition. Then he proceeded to tell me. "We never had to change anything on the ones we get in."

Is it illegal to shoot stupid parts clerks? Or can I just hurt him a little bit?

Since you've already ordered it, it's kind of moot at the moment.  However, for future reference, some HD's use Mikuni carbs and many of their dealers often keep a decent stock of jets.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
