Title: Re: Custom Exhaust Post by mickthelimey on 10/28/06 at 22:33:30 Back in the old country we used to call that muffler the "Brooklands silencer" when racing was established at the Brooklands race track the locals complained bitterly about the noise,so this can was used there are no baffle plates in it ,but the shape itself helped silence it a little,it had a very distinctive noise,Velocettes used them also,I put one on my old 1937 "Rudge" ,I guess it was the Englishmans version of a H/D muffler,very chic at the time. |
