I haven't been able to find a lot in the way of parts/acessories for the savage when serching online sites.  Is there a more popular model that fits the same parts I should look for?

nope, there in lies the great value of this site. many of the accessaries and modifications listed within these hallowed pages, have come from an overwhelming desire for something that does not exist. "nessesity is the mother of invention" search and peruse this site often, and you will be enlightened. :o welcome

One of the fun things about the Savage is the hunting for parts.  No other bike is fully compatible, but a lot of bikes have parts that can be used.  Sportsters have given up a lot of parts to Savages.  As have old Triumphs and Nortons.  I know a good number of people have Intruder parts on theirs.  It's all very mix and match, if you want to customize.  If there's a specific part that you're wanting to swap out, you might do a search for here to see if anyone else has found a swap out part.  Otherwise you get to lead the way!

I believe that user name is "Lpgoldtop" insted of "Ipgoldtop". I had a gold top Les' Paul "eons" ago. Man I miss that guitar. :'(

thanks, I was just wondering if there was a quicker way to find parts, but no problem. Working in a cnc machine shop that deals mostly with steal and aluminium makes mods pretty easy!
and yes, the user name is in reference to my les paul classic, wich has it's share of chrome (although most of it is plating over nickle...)

A lot of accessories for the Suzuki MARAUDER (800) seem to fit the Savage.

Rob,

What's the difference between the Savage and the Marauder  headlight?
