Title: Re: sorry guys Post by pmanntex on 10/02/06 at 11:28:35 Not there just yet but did take a step in that direction, buying a 2005 S50 (800 Intruder) this weekend. For those newbies or those on the fence and reading these threads before considering the Savage, I'd say my experience with it has been very pleasant, especially after eliminating the speedo rattle! Having been away from motorcycling for 25+ years prior, the Savage provided me with alot: confidence building, reliability, maintenance simplicity, and fun!! Every bike has its own unique character---but the Savage is even uniquer. People I've let on ride it (some on a dare after laughing histerically) finally get its appeal after they've ridden it---these bikes wouldn't be around this long without much change if they didn't fill some niche. |
Title: Re: sorry guys Post by Trippah on 10/02/06 at 16:36:12 Savagealan - moving onto another bike or has your back forced you off motorcycles altogether? Best of luck in either case. |
Title: Re: sorry guys Post by georgekathe on 10/02/06 at 18:09:31 sorry to hear this, but hope you had a lot of fun riding it over a goodly period of time. hope you can still ride a bike that is a little more comfy, perhaps. :) |
Title: Re: sorry guys Post by Fido_the_Cat on 10/03/06 at 18:24:42 I feel for you man. That is some cheap trick. Hope, Like others that it is temporary, or that you just need to move on to a more comfortable ride. |

Title: Re: sorry guys Post by georgekathe on 10/06/06 at 04:58:10 maybe I'm being too personal, but a girl friend who laughs @ a bloke when he cries @ selling your bike? yours is an understable reaction to me. sell the girl friend too! just kidding - they don't have a good resale value - tried it in my time. ;D Liverpool? nah, West 'Am. (trying to start some friendly football rivalry here - how 'bout you, mickthelimey?) keep riding, mate! |
