Title: Re: 140/90-15 vs mph Post by JerryAssburger on 09/02/06 at 19:25:07 My last post was messed up- supposedly the speedo is indicating 95% of your actual speed. I.E.... if it says you're doing 60, you're actually doing 63. I verified this with a GPS receiver on the handlebars, and it's true- at least on my bike. Which also is good news for all the gas-mileage freaks like me- You're going a bit further on a tank of gas than your odometer says! (Yay) I love the look the 140/90 gives the bike. |
