HELLO ALL. I HAVE AN 06 S40 AND I AM WANTING TO RUN A DRAG PIPE. WANTING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANY PROS OR CONS ABOUT THIS AND I WAS WANTING TO SEE WHAT ALL I SHOULD DO TO THE BIKE WHEN I RUN THIS PIPE, ALSO HAS ANY ONE TRIED THE DIAL-A-JET IF SO HOW DID YA LIKE IT. THANKS

I am running a straight pipe. To be more specific it is a 1.75" OD. pipe 18" long w/ no baffle. If you are going to run this set up you will need to rejet the carb and adjust the mix as the open exhaust will only compond the lean condition of the stock set up. I am still running the OEM air filter, but a K&N will help it to breath. I am running a 152.5 main jet and a #55 pilot jet.

Oh and BTW, questions should be posted in the "rubber side down" section. This section is for posting refrence material.

Hey, Steelwolf! How is you mileage with that set up? So far on mine, its desnorkle, 152.5 main, idle jet adjusted, SE muffler, 7/10ths spacer-otherwise stock. I'm going to fill it up tonight and drive to work and see how it does. (70 mile round trip)
