For those of you that have made the solo switch where did you relocate the regulator under the passenger seat?

relocated to the air box is my understanding. BTW, Your sig is funny as He*ll.

Pull the right side air box door off and throw it away. Cut the central rib out of the air box snorkel. Stuff regulator into snorkel. Been that way since 1999...

i mounted it right back on the rear fender, just a little lower.  finally here's a close up of the area.

the sheet metal flap cover the area up.

I relocated mine to the muffler bracket and extended the wiring. :)

i had to relocate debby's regulator for the sportster seat conversion, i screwed it down to the frame cross member just above the air snorkel (ensures a good ground), and have the rest of the wires and connectors stuffed down along side and across the top of the air box, which is why i opted for the swiss cheese mod on the air box door. i wasn't impressed enough with the stock air filter seal to eliminate the door in the desert, although i certainly considered it.

Bolted it to the bottom of my metal seat/fender.
