Title: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by DaddySauce on 06/23/06 at 20:08:15 Ok, so I posted on another thread that i would get some audio from my bike. Well, I did a little better and got some video too! I will list all of the file links here so you can download what you choose. Keep in mind a couple of the larger files may take some time to download. The mods that are done: Cone air intake, windshield with bag, stock sportster muffler, DJ kit. **************************************************** This is for just the audio of the bike revving (3.52mb) http://www.pearlphotos.com/ebay/savage.wav This is the link for a larger AVI file of my bike just revving up a couple times (69.5mb) http://www.pearlphotos.com/ebay/savage_1_AVI.avi This is the link for the smaller file of my bike revving(600kb) http://www.pearlphotos.com/ebay/Savage_1_WMV.wmv My chick and I going to the stop sign... and then cam battery DIES! LARGE FILE (137mb) http://www.pearlphotos.com/ebay/Savage_ride_AVI.avi My chick and I going to the stop sign... and then cam battery DIES! (1.21mb) http://www.pearlphotos.com/ebay/Savage_ride_WMV.wmv **************************************************** Hope you enjoy these! If you have trouble downloading, give it a minute. My site provider can be slow if too many downloads are at once. Oh, and I know you can see my gf and I in the mirror, just remember, she's all MINE!!! MUAHAHAHA!! |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by luken on 06/23/06 at 21:17:17 I like the sportster, that sounds nice. Where did you get it/how much? Id like to see it. |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by DaddySauce on 06/23/06 at 21:46:28 I got it off a guy in town. If you want I have an etra one. It's not pristine condition but it's not dented or anything. I'll get some pics tomorrow. I'm too lazy to do it now. 8) I also have a modified stock muffler, but it's a little too raspy for me. |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by torque on 06/24/06 at 00:40:56 why did u rev up your lawn mower? |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by Banger on 06/24/06 at 04:58:29 Lol! Lawnmower. Some old fellows stopped me as I came out of a restaurant one time and said "well, we wanna hear what this 'Big Single' sounds like when she fires up!" At the time, of course, I still had the '97 stickers on the tank that said "Big Single" on them. Before I even started it, though, I just said "well, have you ever heard a lawnmower without the blades engaged?" Fun times! Regards, Banger ======= |

Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by Zniper175 on 06/26/06 at 02:43:59 Glad you put this up. I have two Sportsters mufflers at home, and I was contemplating putting them on... But before I bought them I took a dremel and bored out the back plate on the stock muffler. It gives a much harsher, throatier sound to the exhaust. The only drawback is it's hella loud. I'll de-winterize the bike and do some sound clips as well. |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by Savage_Rob on 06/26/06 at 07:16:18 I took your recording as an example of a Sportster muffler on a Savage, converted it to MP3, uploaded it to the site and added it to the Savage Sounds (mufflers) thread in the Tech Ref forum. |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by DaddySauce on 06/26/06 at 07:27:10 YAAA!!! I'M FAMOUS!!!! |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by JerryAssburger on 06/26/06 at 20:11:58 WOW! That sounds good! Is it very loud? I ended up getting the S.E pipe because it was cheap, but if I find a Sporty Muffler, I think I'll opt for it. Even the stock Sporty Muff leans out the mixture a bit, doesn't it? (Better flow). I KNOW I don't like the stock putter that's on it. It's not even a matter of sound, it's knowing that the honking single is exhaling through a 1.75" into a muffler with a 5/8" outlet! Sheer Lunacy! THX for the effort. |
Title: Re: Audio/Video '02 Savage Post by DaddySauce on 06/27/06 at 07:11:07 HAHA! Well, I actually have a modified stock muffler (basically 4 holes in baffle) but it's a little raspy. I also have a second stock sporty that I was gonna sell, but the guy hasn't gotten back to me yet. It needs some shining but I need to sell it. |
