Title: Re: "i found the sound" Post by vroom1776 on 06/14/06 at 08:13:42 How did you manage to find that? That forum has been down for at least a year? Which mod were you talking about? I have one of those glasspacks on mine. Haven't figured out a good way to seal it up, yet so it likes to backfire, and I mean L-O-U-D LOUD. Sounds good, though, kindof a BRrrraaaaaP! Very distinctive. |
Title: Re: "i found the sound" Post by babbalou on 06/14/06 at 17:08:36 I tried 2 different glasspacks on mine awhile back. They came with a 10 degree bend in front so sealing it was a snap. The first one was WAY too loud to enjoy riding, though the tone was a nice, deep bass sound. I went to a longer, thinner glasspack which sounded even better to me & was quieter but still a little loud for me. Each one gave more power in the upper revs & cost less than $40 each. I ordered them in silver & they looked OK for the money. I can't remember the name of the company I ordered from but it might be in an old thread. |
