Title: What's in your desert island tool roll bag? Post by Tomohawk on 06/10/06 at 08:59:16 I'm looking to put a tool roll bag on my Savage. I'd like it to be slimmed down to minimal but essential stuff. What kinda tools/gadgets would you recomend to put in it? **will be finally picking up bike this monday from dealers. :) |

I also have a leatherman tool in there, an air pressure gauge, a socket wrench (10mm), and a few extra screwdrivers. I also carry some velcro strips, some spare nuts and bolts, and some cable ties. All fits neatly in an 8x5x3 tool bag. |

Post by azjay on 06/11/06 at 08:16:06 i dont have a tool bag on the savage YET, and the factory tool kit is long gone, but as many times as i've had it apart, i would have a phillips screwdriver, standard screwdriver, 10mm x 1/4" socket, 11mm x 1/4" socket, 2" x 1/4" extension, 1/4" ratchet, sparkplug socket, a crescent wrench large enough to fit the biggest nut/bolt (axle nut?), any allen wrenches that might be required, and i always carry a gerber on me. |
