Savage sat from October or so until today (6/6/06) without being started. Fired off on the very first push of the button, without needing jumped off.

Looks like something the dog threw up, but it is a runner. Ended up with Rebel 250 gas valve, 1960s gas tank, 450 Rebel rear fender (with tucked in cateye taillight and homemade plate mount), 250 Rebel pillion, Honda XR dual sport passenger pegs, cheapo rear turn signals.

Still needs a new rear tire, some kind of fender support rails and a sissy bar. Set it up so Rob can haul his girlfriend, or I can haul one of my models (cashiers) to the builder shoot for The Horse Backstreet Choppers magazine. Got to spray the tank, my primary model (24 year old redhead with ink and piercings) is 6 weeks or so pregnant. I'm gonna be an "uncle" (I treat the girls like they were my little sisters, you pervs).

I'm stoked. It looked like the bike would never run again, yet there she sits, waiting for a new license tab and a long run.
