Is the rear drive pully on the old four speed bikes and the newer five speed bike the same, as in do they have the same number of teeth?

You might try the fiche at RonAyers.com and look at the part numbers between thw two models.

The part number is not the same, but that does not tell me the number of teeth, I am still looking for a higher gear but 5 is all thats there :(

I have an '87 four speed bike.  I'll try to remember to count teeth when I get home tonight and post.

Mine has 68 teeth.
