Has anyone purchased a GPS or Handlebar Watch for the Savage? Any suggestions?

My husband picked up a small digital vehicle clock (2" by 1") which I attached to my gas tank using Two velco strips.  It was in Canadian Tire.  That way, I can just glance down to see the time, and if it looks like rain when I've parked the bike, I just remove the clock temporarily.  Works great for me, because a watch under my leather gloves isn't comfortable.

I'm considering a GPS.  At this point I'm thinking about a Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx unit attached to the handlebar with a RAM mount.

The GPSMAP 60 CSx is a handheld unit that uses the new SiRF chipset and SD memory. The chipset locks onto satellites  really fast, like 15 seconds.  The SD memory is cheap and easy to expand.

It includes a basemap of major roads. You can buy a more detailed map and load it into the SD memory.

Other models to look at are the StreetPilot 2610 or the Quest.

It wasn't making it a link.  It was spelling it right.  You left out the "h".   I did a cut/paste of yours and got nowhere.  That was all.  Fat-finger... but better than my fast IMs; that's for sure.

quite easy to install - it's a barrons tach with a case from ebay that it drops into - stock they have a triangle shaped bracket you can clamp down in to riser

No glue - it's in a case that fits over the stem nut and has a set screw

The clock nut cover comes in a white as well as a black one. I chose the white because it looked better.

And I had Fett first, B  >:(

Do you have close-up pictures?  I'd like to decide if I like the white or black?  Let me know.

Thanks.
