Title: How do I fix the Tacho needle? Post by mpescatori on 04/04/06 at 15:19:54 Hi all, as I said in another thread in The Café, my tach did arrive in the end. However, after much TLC and (man)handling this side and that of the ocean, the tach's needle somehow skipped/jumped beyond the '0 rpm' per and currently reads at almost 6 o'clock. How do I fix this? Can it be fixed at all? I tried unscrewing the chrome bezel but it seems to be crimped tight. Maurizio |

Why are you changing your points of reference? How do we know that "6 o'clock' is not anywhere near "0 rpm"? If you start with RPM than stay with RPM. If you start with a reference to clock position, then stay with reference to clock position. |
