I made the "white spacer mod" a couple of days ago. I went to the stealer.... realy its a stealer.... 100kr for a 155 jet ! (apx 16$) But to my surprice there was a 125 jet in my savage ! But I replaced it anyway just to see what it was going do happen, although it deep down I knew it was a stillborn idea. but engine goes better now, but in the last 1/5 of the throttle the engine starts stalling and dies totaly ! So now im going over to take the 155 jet out, but what do you think I should do, install the original 125 jet or switch the 155 to a 130-135 maby !

Sounds to me like you may have went too big on the jet.

Go with no more than 130 /if You haven't touched the exhaust-may be 127.5/.
Don't You guys have some independent shops, that sell aftermarket stuff? Here an originl jet is twise more expensive than aftermarket.

Seems like I've read that the 125 jet is common on a lot of the European Savages. I'd agree with Slavy.

I found where I'd read that. It's listed on the first post in the Carb Specs. thread in the Tech Ref forum. It shows the 125 main jet in the California models and states that the Eropean models are similar to the CA models.

Ill go back to the staler tomorrow and see if I can get the jet changed !
I have thaught about finding some alternative places to buy stuff for the savage ! sadly here i Denamrk motorbikes are considered LUXUS big time, so the prices are totaly screwed up ! and if I have to buy stuff from other countries it has to be above a certin pricerange otherwise the saved money will go to p&p and administative charges !
