Title: Spark plug wrench size.
Post by HotFix on 03/13/06 at 09:52:42

Sorry to bug you folks with an easy one.  I want to pick up a spark plug wrench on my way home, but couldn't remember if it was a 17mm, 18mm, or 19mm.

So which is it?  Thanks!

Thanks again.  My Clymer manual had 17mm.  It was of course wrong as the 18mm worked like a champ.

Definitely 18mm.

I now have a Denso IX24B which has a 0.4mm center electrode (DPR8EIX-9 has 0.6) the denso also has a U-groove tapered cut earth electrode, drawback is cost, inXS of £10.

Glad to help - now the champion plugs I use for carb tunes are 16mm, have a touch bigger center ceramic so these old eyeballs can see the color better and cost a $1.15.
