man how does the speedo come off my 04 need to put a tank pad on??

1-Drain the tank

2- remove the seat

3- Remove the tank after disconecting the fuel and vacuum hose and the speedo cable at the crankcase .
( don't loose the rubber washer in the connector)

4- Turn the tank upside-down and then you can see the attachments of the speedo.

Use the search and look for speedo rattle you may find a picture of the attachment.
