Has anyone ordered the 7 inch heat sheilf from JC Witney, order number 013521? I ordered it for the 17.99 price i beleive and they messed up my order. I bieleve they have only sent me the mounting hardware or they have sent me an incorrect item. I dont want to open the bag incase its wrong an i need to return it.. hopefully they clear this up im looking forward to mounting the sportster muff soon

did you get a bag of hardware with it? i think they only sent me that because i have no sheild.. haha unless they sent that in a seperate package.. which makes no sense

well i just opened what looked like clamps throught the bubble wrap, but apparently they are visors hahaha for small lights, maybe turn signals. they are nice items, but not what i ordered. i guess ill have to send them back now.. but not without holding them up to my bike to see how they look..

well they fit on the savage turn signals but not the look im goinf for , maybe a different style, but that is beside the point guess im going to call them now.

Cremeans--How long did it take for the order to come to you after you ordered. I ordered mine since the 10th of Feb and still haven't seen it yet >:( I hope they don't send the same visors like yours :o ;D

i like this 7 inch heat shield better on the lower right corner. no hose clamps. i dont know how to post a link, sorry.

I'm wondering why you are ordering a heat sheild. And I'm wondering if I'll need one for my Supertrapp. Is it a cosmetic thing or something so you don't burn your leg. Sorry for my ignorance.

haha i just want something to cover the clamp and connection between my new sportster muffler and the downpipe. The stock heat sheild looks too big and kinda goofy with the smaller muffler, besides the clamps on my stock one rusted out anyway.. :-/
but sportster muff soon :) and hopefully if they send me the right thing this time ill have my heat shield :P
