Title: Bikers Friend?

What do you guys think of the bikers friend bag?  Wouldn't a waterproof duffle bag work about as well?  www.bikersfriend.com

Hey, I ordered my 152.5 main jet and supertrapp today. ::) ;D

That bag would be needed only on long trips.  It would have to go either on the pillion in front of the sissybar, or on the luggage rack behind the sissy bar.

If I'm traveling my laptop will be carried in it's backpack (stops shocks/vibrations from reaching the laptop) which takes the pillion space.  If I'm traveling I'll like to have the 3.5 gallon tour tank on the luggage rack.  (There are many long lonely roads in the Southwest.)

I have no place to put that $180 bag.

I'm hoping to go on long trips this summer.

Camping or Moteling?

I have Leatherlyke Cruiser Hard Saddlebags -- 18 Qt. Capacity 7 1/2" wide/11 1/2" deep/18 1/2" long.  Figure pot, pan, grasshopper stove, bowl, utensils, and food will fit fine.  Laptop and personals in the backpack, a sleeping bag, pillow, and a couple changes of clothes wrapped in a tarp strapped to the rear.  I can travel very light if I need to.
