Title: Progressive Shocks Post by lancer on 11/22/05 at 09:00:37 I just got my newest ebay aquisition...a set of 12.5" Progressive 418's...almost new with just under 1000 miles on them. I got them from a guy whose Harley had fallen over while parked and the fall damaged one shock slightly...as seen in pic. His insurance paid for a new set so he sold these on ebay. I PAID $125 + shp...and these shocks go for $400-500 retail. I love ebay. I will update when I get them mounted. Merry Christmas to me!! http://images.snapfish.com/34558%3A%3A%3B23232%7Ffp335%3Enu%3D323%3A%3E639%3E697%3EWSNRCG%3D32333454%3A359%3Bnu0mrj Are these beautiful or what??!! http://images.snapfish.com/34558%3A%3A%3B23232%7Ffp63%3Dot%3E232%3B%3D72%3A%3D788%3DXROQDF%3E23242545944%3B%3Aot1lsi The shock on the right is the damaged one, top of the black coil spring, small light area is the damaged spot....very small and will only need a touch of paint to cover it. |

Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by Savage_Rob on 11/22/05 at 11:09:44 Sweet! I bought the 412's because I didn't want to spring for the 418's but those should be an awesome ride and that deal is better than the price for 412's. Congratulations! |
Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by lancer on 11/22/05 at 13:30:25 It's all in the timing of the bid. |

Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by klx650sm2002 on 11/23/05 at 02:24:47 Hey Lancer Progressive wound springs on your Progressive shocks. Is that damping adjustment I see before Me ?, Compression, rebound or combined ? Clive W |
Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by lancer on 11/23/05 at 07:23:53 It is my understanding that the little adjuster controls both, but I am not positive just yet. I need to get a complete set of instructions because there were not any in the box. |
Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by Trippah on 11/25/05 at 15:36:58 Hey Lancer- Is that a Love seat the shocks are sitting on?? Now the shocks do make sense- enjoy. ;D |
Title: Re: Progressive Shocks Post by lancer on 11/26/05 at 20:18:03 The pictures were taken with the shocks on a straight backed chair. This is what they look like on the bike. http://images.snapfish.com/3456292723232%7Ffp336%3Enu%3D323%3A%3E639%3E697%3EWSNRCG%3D323334%3C%3B46%3C45nu0mrj http://images.snapfish.com/3456296323232%7Ffp335%3Enu%3D323%3A%3E639%3E697%3EWSNRCG%3D323334%3C%3B65%3A58nu0mrj |
