Title: Anyone know socket size for drive pulley? Post by realdeal on 11/11/05 at 05:32:35 I'm in the process of pulling the motor, and i'm to the point where i need to remove the drive pulley. Unfortunately, i don't have a socket that big. Does anyone know what size socket i need? I'd like to head out at lunch today and buy one. Thanks! -Neil |

Post by torque on 11/11/05 at 06:41:02 the size is 1 1/4. you'll need a impact gun with at least 400 ftlbs of torque. or u can use a breaker bar ,and have a couple buddys hold on to the bike, and apply the rear brake,so the wheel dosent spin. if u cant get the nut off take the belt side shock off and the engine will come out with the belt attached. hope this helps ;) |
