Title: Auto-sol???  Rubbing compound??

My Suzi's engine was all pitted and sanded her down good.  She's looking better but now comes the final touches.  Was using steel wool to buff her up but I think it was Dr_D who suggested auto-sol or some such thing?  Anybody know of it?  Can't find it anywhere?  What does everybody use??  Just a rubbing compound?

Autosol (Metal polish) is really good for KLX's aluminium wheel rims, spokes are ok cos they are stainless. Autosol is recomended for ally.

Jbrough, you can get it at Crappy Tire. It comes in a tube like toothpaste. It is in the car wash and wax section. It's good stuff.
