Title: cerani forks
Post by Trippah on 10/31/05 at 18:02:57

Hi lancer et al..I mention Lancer since your list of mods includes forks..do you think the cerani  forks make a big difference?? Did you  buy them new or get them from the olde aut jumble?? I would like to upgrade without breaking the bank.  Thanks for any thoughts.

The Ceriani forks make a huge difference when compared with the stock units.  The difference is at least, if not more than, the change in the rear suspension when progressive shocks are fitted.
I do not have the Ceriani's on at present because of the front brakes...the Ceriani forks have a different setup and I have not been able to get a proper brake setup.  My old Goldstar had Ceriani's on it, and they make  for a great ride.
I found my Ceriani's on Ebay.  They were on the shelf at a bike shop and at least several years old but had never been mounted on a bike.  I got them for $75 plus shipping.  That has to be the best deal I have ever found on Ebay...a new set of Ceriani's go for over $2000.
