Title: S40 foot peg Removal
Post by Wingdwolf56 on 10/09/05 at 05:15:34

Does anyone know how to remove the rider footpegs on a 2006 S40? Maybe I'm gettin old, but I just can't figure it out. The bolt holding the right peg n place has no head!

I haven't done it myself but my Clymer manual mentioned removing the trim caps there & the Allen bolt is under it.

Could anyone provide a little guidance on how to do that? Thank you!

the caps are plastic, slip a knife under the head and pry it out.

they are also found in the handlebar clamps.
