Title: SUPERTRAPS? Post by roughrider on 08/04/05 at 18:31:16 Do they really stop the backfiring of the savage? Do they really sound good on a one cylinder? I also need to find a book on making repairs to by bike. Any suggestions on the book and where to buy it? Thanks |
Title: Re: SUPERTRAPS? Post by theikeman on 08/04/05 at 22:32:52 No, the Supertrapp muffler will not eliminate backfires, that problem is caused bay any number/combinations of things. Many threads here on this forum. I had one on mine, sounded awesome. There is one for sale on ebay - cheap. Just click on the link below. Title: Re: SUPERTRAPS? Post by christopher on 08/06/05 at 04:07:40 I have a supertrapp on my 02 and what a difference in sound and power! Add a K@N air filter and its like a totally different bike. Well worth the money, and after hearing the Supertrapp I guarantee you wont want to ever go back to the stock mufflertopher |
Title: Re: SUPERTRAPS? Post by PerrydaSavage on 08/06/05 at 04:47:19 8)Looks-wise, I think the Sportster muffler addition is "spot-on" for the LS650 (a straight thru pipe looks pretty darn cool too!!) ... does the Sporty muff require re-jetting, air/fuel mix adjustment or air filter mods? |
