Ahhh.....   I work at 100 W. Alondra Blvd, Gardena, CA, 90248

These people are a Brick and mortar (literally -- it is a brick building!) that have been in business at least a decade.

Hopefully they have one of the bikes at the store.  Will post a followup this afternoon.

Neat bike, the engine is based  off of the Ducati 350 widecase, saw one last year at a military show. It's a lot like the 69 Ducati Monza I have. Luck with it

If you get the bike watch out for the shift pattern, my '69 Duc is one up, four down on the right side instead of one down four up on the left like the Savage. It can be a bit confusing in a emergency.

I'm not buying it.  I just ran across it, thought it looked interesting, and thought I'd share it.

I don't think the Whip will allow a $2K toy.

It's a old unrestored, slightly banged up.  Might be worth $2000 to a collector.  Worth about $500 as a Rat Bike (click image to enlarge):

Just sold one of the Ducati 350 motors at work...$750 for a locked up, incomplete, nearly impossible to get parts for antique. $2K for a whole bike is about right actually.

The days of used non-HDs going for a buck per cc are long gone. Prices now are based on what the parts would go for from the boneyard or on e-pay. Perfect example? I've bought sandcast CB750s for as little as $5 for a complete parts bike. The shop I'm at now the used lower ends go for $1500, whole motors for $2500. Sandcast was a first year only engine, too weak to hot rod. Remember CZ/Jawa/Puch/Allstate? Worth $1, maybe. We get $1500 in lousy shape.

I'll get off the soapbox. I know some of you like/love e-bay. My condolences to your sanity. Death to E-bay!
