Finally after 4 months, $550, 2 different repair shops, and a whole lot of missed days of riding, i got my savage back from the shop. however, the carb is not throttling down as it should. i am gonna ride it out and hope it is just a sticky carb or something. put a whole bottle of carb cleaner stuff in it, i hope it works.
