I just installed my amal carb, I love this thing! Thanks lancer. If anyone would like to see the pics of this and how nicely it fit go to bikepics and look under S40 my bike is in there listed as ew8486

i got mine i haven't really had a chance to get it working good. but thats all me. I flooded my engine and fouled the plug. 8) replaced the plug and it started right up. the thing was soaked and black but anyway. Now i just need to fine tune the mixture.

Some Tips:

1) if you have and 87 the custom throttle cable doesn't go right on the handle the 87 has a different mounting system. Hence the reason i'm bidding on a 96 right hand switch.

2) connect the throttle cable before connecting the fuel lines.

3) the overall install is a snap. its a couple screws really easy.

4) dont pull the little black plug on the right side of the carb

5) make sure you connect the vacumm hose.
