Title: Passenger/Rear Foot Peg lowers
Post by mikedasavage on 07/20/05 at 16:03:20

my wife has long legs and would like lower foot pegs I saw that seeger cycle has some but there is two issues

1) $200 seems a bit much
2)It doesn't say anything about specifically fitting the savage

anyone try anything like that or got any ideas.

i see several options, none of which are a perfect solution.

a. get a wife with shorter legs.  ::)
b. try some clamp ons  and position them further up on the swing arm.,
c. the seegers will probably not work. there is no room to lower them due to muffler.

good luck.

Fabricate a 3 or 4 in drop bar from where the foot pegs are stock.  Lower them just like some of those really small trucks you see.  By the way why don't really small truck owners feed there trucks some red-neck water and maybe one day they will grow up to be big trucks?
