Title: Forward Controls...
Post by kickthetires on 07/20/05 at 12:11:09

Looking for advise on forward contols for a 2005 S40.  Anyone had any experience with Highway Hawk?

The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.....

Don't waste your money. If you like chrome, the Highway Hawk stuff isn't for you. If you don't mindlots of extra polishing to keep it from rusting, go for it. BUT, the weld quality is pathetic.

Another choice...I'm looking at these as well so can't give you feedback but perhaps someone else can.

I had the same thing come with my bike- the footpegs were basically above the normal pegs which raised my knees even higher up. i hated them and just took off the whole bar altogether. let me know if you find some nice, reasonably priced forward controls

This is the most reasonably priced set I've found...they are Highway Hawk's and not everyone has had good luck with their durability.
