Hey Troops,
Just joined the group...and what a pleasant surprise. I am a 49 year old newbie. After years of stomping broncs I decided to give a motorcycle a try (Before I ran out of time so to speak) After a lot of looking and listening I opted for an S40...and so far so good. Not sure where all this is going to take me...not even sure what I like...ignorance is bliss ;D All I know is that when life gets a little over burdensome a spin on the "Thumper" helps a ton cause all I think about is me and the bike. Now...if I can keep the kids off of it...never trust a dog to watch your food. ;)

Look at it this way, your new bike may also help you when the Big 5-0 rolls around. That's when I bought mine ;D

You say you're a newbie -- how long have you been riding? (If you haven't taken it yet, I highly recommend the MSF class -- you'll get a great foundation to build on.)
