8)This past weekend was the annual Ride for Sight here in Nfld. ... a charity Run of approx 350km's (218mi) from St. John's to Gander to raise money to fight blindness.

Nice pics! I did notice that everyone is really bundled up with jackets, gloves, face warmers, etc. Your summer looks to be a little on the COOL SIDE.

It is nice to get together though for a ride, and a good cause.

did any sight impaired people get to ride along as passengers?

that would have been a nice gesture, and ride for someone.

LOL, you can see people's attention spans... on the first page the pics had been viewed 25-50 times but by the time you get to page 4, they were like 3 times each. Looks like it was a fun run though.

8)Yup it was a cold, wet weekend for the R4S this year ... temps barely getting into the mid-40's (Farenheit that is ;)) ... ironically the weather cleared on Monday (of course after the weekend is over ...) and it's been sunny with temps in the high 60's - low 70's ever since ... go figure?
As for anyone 2-upping sight impaired persons on the Ride? ... Great idea! Don't know if it's been done, but I know one of the local organizers and will suggest it for next year!
The R4S is a cross-Canada charity event held every June ... Nfld. on average raises more money than any other Ride across the country ... we may be the "poorest" province in Kanuckistan, but we're rich when it comes to charity causes!
