I recently started bringing my savage back to life, I changed the plug, changed the oil, changed the gas, and got a new batt. Im able to get it started for a few seconds but only if Im spraying carb cleaner into the intake like crazy.

It cuts out after about 5 seconds. Where should I start looking for a problem?

I think that you should start in an on-going topic about an engine doing something similar....check this out.

sorry, just have to say it.

then run it on carb cleaner :o lol..
