Title: Re: L.A. Traffic Post by Paladin on 05/17/05 at 22:22:48 http://cbs2.com/topstories/topstoriesla_story_137190216.html Three people injured. Not bad, considering. If the middle car were a bike the rider would be jelly. Which simply means you cannot allow yourself, as a biker, to be caught in the middle. I tend to get fascinated by the applied physics of collisions. Stems from things like watching a car broadside a pickup truck twenty feet in front of me and my YammerHammer and seeing the 3500 pound+ truck knocked into a 270 degree spin. Tried to guess how far that car would have knocked my 350 pounds total. |
