No offense but that is just ugly. It's the frame, just doesn't flow well when i look at it. Front part has sharp angles while the rear is curved. Anyway that's just my 2 cents and i'm not trashing anyone elses tastes. Everyone has different likes.

lol, that's why I like it. Very eye catching.
Sort of why I like the backfire for my savage. With two holes tapped in the plate, the backfire sounds like a shotgun. Big attention grabber ;)

Are you kidding me? Thats the toughest savage I've ever seen. Everyone & their brothers are trying to customize their bikes these days. Well I got news.... If you bought it off a shelf, It aint custom. Its refreshing to see somthing so original but yet not so rediculous you wouldnt be able to ride it! EHH-HEM OCC. ;)

That frame is ~~interesting~~ fascinating. The long low straight bottom rails look like they would act as skids on tight corners. That is not a show bike.

Well, that's an original way to get rid of the cheap trash rear shocks. I like it. Except for the spindly, probably stock front suspension. That thing would be beyond wicked with a blacked out springer, girder, or Chief leaf spring front end...

Originality is definitely preferably to the "catalog ordered, billet bolt-on" OCC lemming HD garbage wagons. And following the " I don't know or care what bling-bling is, spray it flat black and ride the hell out out of it" philosophy is, to me, the epitome of form AND function. Chrome won't get you home, but black will get you back. Don't know or care why, but, from personal experience, it's true.

Change out the front end and add a suspended seat, and I'd ride that bike. For those who've never ridden a rigid, they are more stable to ride. They lean further, they corner more smoothly, they have much less frame flex/oscillation, they stop considerably more stabilely, and have the same or better comfort level as a Savage with suspension. If your back is in good shape, try replacing your shocks with a set of steel or extruded aluminum struts. Now where did I stash that BSA girder front end? Oh to ride a bike with no front end dive under braking...

Nice bike, great looks and a strong personality...

but, I wouldn't ride a hardtail even if I got paid to do so... after WD's saga of spine surgeries, I can cope with a poor-handling Savage on shocks... I need my back in good shape to ride and work...

Very interesting. Like some, I don't like it when I look at the lines. The bars would be a better match if curved. Or the lack of comfort with the rigid rear end.

But all in all, it gets some serious recognition for the creativity. Funny how he didn't paint the filter cover or the alternator plug....wonder how big the tank is ???

Is that an extra HD? gearbox behind the Savage engine??. Maybe he did not use the original hearbox al all.

Interesting air filters sticking out each side of the rear of the motor...and that does strangely look like an H-D tranny grafted on the rear of the engine...all in all it is an INTERESTING MACHINE.

It appears to be a stock tank (see the speedo?) with a lengthened tail piece bonded on. The fat rear tire looks to be automotive -- flat tread rather than rounded to the sidewalls. Better traction flat but would screw up cornering. Looks like the saddle is further aft for someone who stands taller than average.

Looking at the convergence of the drive belt, it looks to be attached to something about 9 inches back from the Savage's output shaft -- allowing a stretching of the wheelbase. I would have gone with a chain conversion since is it nothing to make up a chain to the exact length needed.

And maybe put a turbocharger in the extra space.

That actually looks like an auxiliary transmission. By the size of the case, I'd guess 45 cubic inch HD sourced.If both were shiftable, that would be a really neat trick, the LS is WAY undergeared...
