Yeah sluggo ... Discovery Canada is way behind on airing the Build-Off episodes. Best part of those shows is the Road Trip segment!

Nightrain-That Boss Hog BHC-3 502 is definitely not worth it at a Dry Weight: 1300 lbs. and High/Low MPG: 18/13. Try flicking that through the curves  ;D

Maybe, but how many other bikes can handle a class-3 trailer?

True and it would be a hell-of-a lot of fun on the strights ;). The W-3 and boss are bikes designed around the concept of back off >:( nothing else but BACK OFF!!! 8) 502hp and 18mpg I am sold as soon as I can rob a bank! :P

too big , too fat , too ugly.. if you want this, what you really want is a car and don't know it.  Bikes are supposed to be light, fast and easy to manuvere. Don't get caught up in the American fantasy that bigger is better. ::)

Mr Fueling is resting in peace, but his company is alive and well...still researching and manufacturing products.  The engine is not dead.  You can go to the website and buy one, engine or complete bike...but you better bring a LOT OF $$$.
If I had the $$$ there would be one sitting in my living room right now.  The website has a demo you can listen to, it is a beautiful sounding engine.

I'd agree on that statement.  I used to think that anything above 600cc was overkill.  But that was back in the days of nothing but inline twins, fours and boxer twins.  Harleys didn't count, since they were considered to be straight line machines made for old farts and thugs.

1000cc were monsters, made only for cruising and nuts with a "compensation" issue.

I like a bike that's lean and narrow in width.

check out Honest Charley's Speedshop. They carry another V8 motorcycle. Looks like it came out of the 30s or 40s. None of the modern flash and owerkill power level junk. Direct drive, so-so brakes, THE best exhaust note ever. It is powered by a rebuilt Ford V8-60, the "baby flathead. I saw a test of one on Spike TV's Trucks program. Nice concept, kind of pricey, not very practical, but definitely NOT your average owerstuffed piece of old codger butt-jewelry.

B'ys what I really wanna see is an idea that WD and a few others on this site came up with ... a build off between to amature crews ... doin' metric stuff (of which the LS650 would be perfect for).
Like others here on this site, Big Talk, Big Money and Big Heads don't impress me ... just thought that that W3 was wild lookin' is all ... that Boss Hoss in my mind is totally useless (betcha it eats drive belts) ... as far as m/c's go, sluggo's Bobber is definately one of the most impressive I've seen!

And check out the fact that all 3 cylinders have the exhaust port in the front, unlike other V-twins (where they share an intake).  I like the K&N pod sticking out the front too.

I agree, and I guess that's why I hadn't seen the W-3 before.  I never watch the TV shows about biker builders like OCC.  They are unrealistic and too much bull$hit.  Too much hype and the bikes are hardly suitable for a ride to the local store.  My bike reality is in my own garage.
